Art, music and folkways have been my primary interests since childhood. As a graduation present, my grandfather gifted me with a small ten-string guitar called a Cuatro Puertorriqueño. He asked me to promise that in turn. I would learn Puerto Rican music, art and culture. He also asked me to teach it to my children. Fulfilling this promise has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. 

The voyage of fulfilling this promise has given me the opportunity to learn many arts, folkways and music that can be shared with students. I can teach workshops in:

9. Basic chords, scales and songs on guitar, bass, cuatro puertorriqueño and tiple puertorriqueño 
10. Beginner song writing for children. 

Music and art exist for more than simple enjoyment. The processes of creating and performing strengthen the mind, making it easier to learn math, language, dance, social skills, etc. They make us more open to new experiences and different people.
