Mondays in the Park

Free summer concert series at Liberty Park




The Utah Division of Arts & Museums and the Salt Lake City Arts Council’s "Living Traditions Presents" program announce the 38th annual series featuring traditional folk music and cultural dance performances. The series offers entertainment on Monday evenings through Aug. 11. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. and continue through 9 p.m. 

Concerts are held in front of the Chase Home Museum in Liberty Park. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics. 


ARTIST SCHEDULE

July 14

Dance: Utah Irish Dance Company, featuring champion-level Irish dancers

Music: Skógafoss, traditional Scandinavian music

July 21

Dance: Kargi Kala Kendra, South Indian dance

Music: Kenshin Taiko, a community group for Japanese drumming

July 28

Dance: Nepalese Association of Utah, nonprofit organization for Nepalese culture

Music: Finch & the Magpies, folk trio playing a wide range of traditional Irish tunes

Aug. 4

Dance: Malialole, Polynesian dance group

Music: Mensajeros del Tiempo, guitar ensemble featuring music from Argentina

Aug. 11

Dance: Ballet Las Americas de Utah, Latin American folk dance

Music: Mariachi Fuego, traditional Mexican folk music

Parking Options

Free parking is available inside the gates along the perimeter of the park, as well as on the side streets surrounding the park grounds.

Public Transportation Options
