Music! Storytelling! Drama! I am your advocate; I tailor my program according to your needs. My motto is “I CAN!”  I sincerely believe that all children, all people have creativity inside them. I also believe that performing or writing or sharing (some action that is a little hard for you right now) will help you to grow. I have received comments such as: “I was scared at first, but Mrs. Brewster made it fun, and now I’m not afraid”; “I had so much fun! I wish she came every week”;  and one principal kiddingly asked (after seeing a boy excitedly participate who was normally a handful), “Could you come live at our school?”

I offer three types of programs 1) Music, storytelling and/or acting, which I’ve taught for over twenty two years in every corner of Utah, as well as in NV, CA, and ID. Programs are often musical versions of fairy tales, like fractured fairy tales. Every student has a part. 2) I have a one day one hour cultural drop-in program that features a world location with a textile, a phrase, artwork, a song and a dance from that area. 3) I also have interactive one woman shows on Utah Pioneers, the Pony Express, and Music Makes Me Feel.

My education includes a masters in music from BYU, degree Magna cum Laude in Elementary Education, and vocal instructor/performer for more years than you can count! For over 15 years, the Brewster Family band toured all the western United States, Kansas, Canada, Romania and Hungary. We’ve created 14 albums, mostly of acoustic music. As a widow, I enjoy my six children and their spouses, nineteen grandchildren and even one great-grandchild.
