Artist Bio
My name is Frida Moses, and I am a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor specializing in Latin dances and dance education. My artistic journey has been deeply intertwined within the Latin American roots and Mexican heritage I grew up with in Utah thanks to the artistry of my mother, and educating myself on the influences of the African diaspora within these art forms and cultures. As I continue to evolve as an artist, I am eager to share my passion for life with others, and instill a deep desire to learn in those I teach, whether it be through dance, or that dance be the catalyst for others discovering their purpose.
My goal is to continue growing my knowledge and foundation in dance, to promote and cultivate self-expression and expression in others through creative projects, and tailor lessons to individuals of all skill levels and dance experiences.
I strongly believe promoting healthy movement and artistic exploration in children and adults, while fostering confidence in their artistic abilities, empowers people to take pride in their identities and abilities, and continue to explore their full potential. My dance and arts program, EnamorArte, represents the literal translation of what the dance and music is meant to do: “Fall in love with art”
I currently work with various schools, companies, education programs, non-profits, and festivals as a director, choreographer, instructor, program coordinator, and performer, throughout the states of Utah and California. Dance and teaching continually have allowed me to hone my skills and connect with dance communities all across the country, and the globe, including but not limited to: Spain, France, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Mexico, Italy, Fiji, New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, and Salt Lake City.
