Established in 1998, the West Jordan Historical Society operates a museum located in Veterans Memorial Park, showcasing history of West Jordan and the surrounding area. The museum grounds include a historic homestead, working blacksmith shop, orchard, antique farm equipment, and several relocated historic structures. Highlights include a Saltaire carousel horse, blacksmith tools of early settler Willard Richardson, and artifacts from boxing legend Gene Fullmer.
