Breaking Barriers: A Cultural Accessibility Project

Breaking Barriers is a partnership between Art Access and the Utah Division of Arts & Museums to provide disability accessibility training and mentorship to our state’s cultural institutions at no cost. Organizations receive 12 hours of instruction to develop accessibility plans that address how to make their physical sites and organizations more accessible to everyone.

Change Leader

The Change Leader Program is a professional development course and an active network of course graduates. Participants attend a three-day institute that lays the basics for assessing needs and opportunities, teaches the communication skills to shape and obtain commitment, and outlines the facilitation skills that transition groups and implement change. Certified Change Leaders form a statewide network that shares a common language, mentors each other, and convenes through leadership circles and conferences.
