Utah Public Art Program Opportunities
The Utah Public Art Program is seeking qualifications from Utah-based artists and/or artist teams with rich ties to Utah interested in creating site-specific artwork(s) for the upcoming Mountainland Technical College Heber Campus. The Committee is strongly interested in exterior work, but is open to proposals containing interior components.

OTHER PUBLIC ART OPPORTUNITIES IN / NEAR UTAH
Denver Public Art seeks to commission an artist or artist team to create public artworks for the Robert “Bob” A. Ming Bridge inside the Denver Botanic Gardens in Denver, CO. The artwork should creatively celebrate the Gardens and its work, as well as invite and encourage visitors to enter the space and cross the bridge into the Freyer – Newman Center.
Budget: $40,000 – Deadline: Jan. 6, 2025
The City of Loveland Art in Public Places is seeking qualifications from artists to create unique works of public artwork for the new Willow Bend Park and Universal Access Playground in Loveland, CO. Because of the combination of a playground within a larger nature area, there is a desire for artwork with a nature-based, whimsical, fantasy-like theme and/or a kinetic piece.
Budget: $55,000 – Deadline: Jan. 23, 2025
The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, in association with Smith's, seeks local artists interested in creating a large-scale indoor artwork in Bluffdale, UT. This artwork will have high visibility and will be prominently displayed within Smith's.

NATIONAL / INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC ART OPPORTUNITIES
The Westbrook Music Building Selection Committee, in consultation with the Nebraska Arts Council, is seeking artists to create artwork for the new Westbrook Music Building at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The committee envisions artwork that is striking and bold, and exemplifies the inherent nature, scholarship and/or curiosity of the research, studies, and creativity occurring in the Westbrook Music Building.
Budget: $450,000 – Deadline: Jan. 6, 2025
The City of Pompano Beach, FL is seeking to commission an artist/artist team for the design and installation of a significant sculpture that will be located at Pompano Beach Community Park. The sculpture should enhance the area and be whimsical and surreal in nature.

The Golden Triangle Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking qualifications from an artist or artist team to design, fabricate, install, and ultimately de-install a two-year temporary public art installation at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and K Streets, NW in Washington, D.C. The selected work will serve as a landmark, connecting the public to contemporary artistic expressions that reflect the vibrancy and spirit of the community.

The City of Tampa Arts & Cultural Affairs Division is seeking a mural for a new underpass in Tampa, FL. The neighborhood has several parks, natural amenities, and an impressive tree canopy throughout the area. The goal is to create a more inviting and safe environment for all roadway users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles.
Budget: $140,000 – Deadline: Jan. 10, 2025
The Town of Bluffton, South Carolina is seeking sculptors and other 3D artists to create an original, durable, outdoor piece for historic Oyster Factory Park. The commission should educate visitors on the importance of fishing, shrimping, and oystering to the local economy and the environmental gem that is the May River.
Budget: $65,000 – Deadline: Jan. 10, 2025
The Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport is commissioning public artists for artworks as part of their terminal expansion project. The first phase will include a suspended artwork that will be visible from the check-in area for departures, the passenger walkway beyond security, as well as baggage claim and passenger pick up.
Budget: $625,000 – Deadline: Jan. 13, 2025
The State of Kansas is seeking qualified artists/artist teams to design, fabricate, and install large-scale public artworks for the newly reconstructed State of Kansas Docking Building in Topeka, KS. This RFQ is composed of two separate projects: Project A, a sculptural interpretation of the state animal, the American bison, and Project B, an aerial installation representing the Kansas skies.
Budget: $300,000 per project – Deadline: January 15, 2025
Palm Beach County's Art in Public Places Program seeks to commission an artist or artist team to design, permit, fabricate, and install art inspired by the many facets of the permitting process that ensures safe structures are built and maintained in unincorporated Palm Beach County, FL.
Budget: $331,395 – Deadline: Jan. 17, 2025
Arts Huntsville, in partnership with the City of Huntsville, is seeking artists or artist-led teams interested in creating a major landmark artwork in downtown Huntsville, AL. The goal of the public art installation is to inspire visitors, create a downtown focal point, enhance wayfinding, and calm traffic.
Budget: $1,500,000 – Deadline: Jan. 17, 2025
The City of Lee’s Summit, MO Cultural Arts Division is accepting applications for the Downtown Sculpture Walk. The exhibit will run from May 2025 - May 2026. Six artists will be selected to install 3D sculptural works for the one-year outdoor display.
Budget: $2,000 stipend – Deadline: January 17, 2025
The CORE (Campus Operations and Research Excellence) Building Selection Committee, in consultation with the Nebraska Arts Council, is seeking artists to create artwork for the new UNMC CORE building in Omaha, NE. The committee envisions artwork that is striking and bold, and exemplifies the cutting-edge nature of the work being done on this campus.
Budget: $133,002 – Deadline: Jan. 21, 2025
The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture Public Art Program is seeking artists or artist teams to design, fabricate, and install an outdoor art piece for the Forest Green Branch Library. The goal is to engage library patrons and staff and spark curiosity and interest. This artwork should convey peacefulness and playfulness, and address local history, nature, and/or education.
Budget: $105,000 – Deadline: Jan. 30, 2025
The City of Berkeley Civic Arts is seeking artists to create and install a large-scale tile or mosaic application upon an exterior wall of the Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Services Center/Young Adult Project building. The goal is to provide an enriching welcome to teens, young adults, visitors, staff, and community members.
Budget: $442,000 – Deadline: Jan. 31, 2025
The Friends of Goodale Park, in cooperation with the City of Columbus and the Columbus Department of Recreation and Parks, invites artists to submit qualifications for up to five public art installations in Goodale Park in Columbus, OH. The proposed artwork should reflect the cultural identity of the area, complement the natural environment, and engage park visitors through creative expression.
Budget: $40,000 – Deadline: Feb. 1, 2025
The Deschutes Public Library (DPL) administration is seeking artwork for six library branches in Deschutes County, OR. Art in all six branches will be diverse in both concept and material, so the DPL Art Committee seeks works in all media and genres.

University Health is seeking artists to propose art pieces for seven site-specific, large-to medium-scale locations within the new Capital Improvement projects in San Antonio, TX. The new University Health facilities are looking for artworks to be fabricated in safe, easily maintained materials and instill a calming, hopeful, and positive feeling.
Budget: $1,450,000 – Deadline: March 15, 2025
The Western States Arts Federation’s Public Art Art Archive invites artists who are not already listed, to submit artwork for inclusion in a national online database of public art. To be considered, you must be a professional artist who has completed and installed public artwork.
