Utah Arts & Museums enhances Utahns’ quality of life through arts and museum experiences and cultural opportunities. We're a service organization offering a variety of professional development opportunities and grants to schools, local arts agencies, organizations, municipalities, community centers, performing groups, museums, and individuals across Utah.

    $1.1 billion generated

Utah's nonprofit arts and culture industry generates $1.1 billion — $335.6 million in spending by arts and culture organizations and an additional $730.8 million in event-related expenditures by their audiences.

    8,256 jobs supported

Utah's nonprofit arts and culture organizations spend an estimated $335.6 million on supplies and services, which supports 8,256 jobs and generates $72.2 million in local, state, and federal government revenue.

    Increased commerce in Utah

Arts and museum visitation drives commerce to local businesses (dining, parking, child care, etc.). In Utah, attendees spend $39.41 per person per event, beyond the cost of admission.

    Community Investment

Our division invests in the cultural community through grants and sponsorships, including grants for organizations' general operating support, creative aging, folk art apprenticeships, and individual artists.
