Digital Exhibitions

We have recently expanded our slate of exhibition programming to offer digital exhibitions that support and champion the work of our diverse and unique Utah artists. Our digital platform features exhibitions by emerging, mid-career, established artists, and curators.

Digital Exhibition Proposal

We welcome digital exhibition proposals from Utah artists, arts organizations, and independent curators age 18 and over. These include solo exhibitions, small group shows, or curated exhibits. Accepted proposals receive a $200 artist support fee. Applications are accepted via Submittable utahartsmuseums.submittable.com/submit

  1. All visual arts media including new genres are accepted.
  2. All work must be original.
  3. There is no entry fee.
  4. Submit a 300-word statement describing your exhibition proposal.
  5. Include a max of 10 images for solo exhibition proposals and 5-8 images per artist for group exhibition proposals. Image pixel dimensions of at least 1000 or larger in either height or width preferred.
  6. Video entries should sample 2 minutes maximum. Only submit a video entry if your proposal includes video art.
The Visual Arts Committee reviews and selects proposals for the gallery. Quality, completion, and clarity of the proposal as well as media, reach, and content submitted are all considered. Additionally, UA&M promotes equity that involves all people, including those who have been historically underrepresented. Diversity, equity, and inclusion consciousness are encouraged in your proposals.

Please note, exhibition proposals accepted will be displayed on our digital exhibition platform utahvisualarts.omeka.net, this is not an application for a physical exhibition; our Rio & Alice galleries are currently closed to the public.
