Join Allison Gerrard, a Moral Courage Mentor, for a Communication workshop that will teach us the idea, framework, and science of Moral Courage along with the Moral Courage Method of Communicating Across Divides. As participants, you'll draw from your own lives to explore the challenge of understanding and being understood in times of growing tension, high emotion, or deep division. You'll leave the workshop with a practical tool that reinforces the skills you've learned, which means your new skills will be actionable immediately. And you can use them not just at work, but also in your own families. Through this unique workshop we'll all be poised to role-model Moral Courage: that is turn divergent, even clashing, perspectives into opportunities to grow. Now more than ever, that's what our leadership teams, our employees, and the public need from us.

As a Moral Courage Mentor, Allison Gerrard teaches people how to turn contentious issues into constructive conversations. She also serves as the Managing Director of the Moral Courage Project. There she teaches, certifies, and weaves together a growing community of Moral Courage Mentors. Her leadership experience started in business and expanded to academic research. As a self-described “neuro-nerd,” Allison most recently led the Hidden Talents Lab in the University of Utah’s psychology department. She loves – no, LOVES – applying science-backed insights to the real and messy world of being human. Allison and her family live near Salt Lake City.
