Fellowships for Visual Arts Excellence in Utah

Fellowships are available for individual artists practicing crafts, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, artist's bookmaking, and working in new genres such as conceptual arts and video. Fellowship grants do not require matching funds.

Applying artists must demonstrate professionalism in their art through quality images and documentation. Artists must be Utah residents not enrolled in a degree or certificate-granting program.

What Will the Application Need to Include?

Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS)

We require all individuals applying for competitions or funding to have a DUNS number so that we can track artistic communities and artists in Utah. By requiring a DUNS number, we can more accurately pinpoint and support artistic endeavors throughout the state.

If you do not already have a DUNS number, we understand that it may take at least 30 days to have one issued from Dun & Bradstreet. If you do not receive your number prior to the application deadline, submit your application and then forward your DUNS number to Jen Parsons-Soran once it is issued.
