The Advisory Board for the Office of Museum Services is composed of 11 members, each appointed to a four-year term by the Governor. A minumum of at least six members must be qualified, trained and experienced museum professionals drawn from a list proposed by the Utah Museums Association. Nine seats are dedicated to representatives of the following disciplines: architecture, dance, folk arts, media, music, theatre, sculpture, literature and visual arts.
